On the occasion, Mayor Renuka Dahal and Deputy Mayor Chitrasen Adhikari stated that the cameras will be installed to monitor every incident in the community and ensure public safety. They added that this initiative will help citizens feel more secure.
At the same event, Chief Administrative Officer of the Metropolitan City, Lakshmiprasad Paudel, emphasized the importance of maintaining and protecting the installed cameras.
The CCTV cameras will be operated through Nepal Telecom’s fiber network, with the Metropolitan City coordinating closely with Nepal Telecom to implement the system.
Rakesh Chaudhary, Chief of Nepal Telecom, Bharatpur, highlighted that maintenance work continued even on public holidays to keep the project on track.
Superintendent of Police, Govind Puri, from the District Police Office assured full support for the effective implementation of the CCTV system.
